Evidence Rating Scale – a programme evaluation tool

20 April 2017

The first Evidence Rating Scale that consistently assesses a broad range of evidence and accommodates a New Zealand perspective has been released. It was developed by Superu in partnership with social sector organisations and government funders. The scale can be used to gauge programme effectiveness and assesses the quality of underlying evidence. It has been designed to be used by programme funders, and the community and voluntary sector that designs and delivers services. Use the rating scale to determine whether or not to introduce a programme, to review an existing programme or to upskill your organisation’s ability to evaluate the effectiveness of your work.
